Q: How can I make a real impact in an elementary student’s life?

A: Communicate with them!!

The Sunrisers Pen Pal Program pairs elementary aged students with a Pen Pal and they exchange letters through out the school year. The students love hearing about their Pal’s life experiences and telling the Pal about the things they are doing. In the process the students build confidence in their writing and reading skills.

The whole process is supervised by the Sunrisers club and the classroom teacher’s for the safety of everyone involved.
